| Both the legal requirement dates have passed so if you have over 12kW out put of air conditioning (that's about 2 medium sized units) then you need a certificate. The certificate last 5 years. There is no pass or fail. Why should I bother? The fine is £300 per day up to £10,000, or the guy on my roof who looks after it is never there long and costs me fortune or it never seems to work properly! I check the equipment, the installation, the operational use, whether its the correct size or not and more importantly how to save money. Producing a certificate is the easy part. I am a commercial assessor level 4 and I use that additional knowledge in producing a report that explains the "why's" an "what is" Send the e mail, costs you nothing, could save you a lot! | |||||
